Today was my second day being oncall as a new grad Software engineer. It was also my first time getting paged. Yeah, actually, while I was in the office for a while, I had a couple tests that I had to do. And yeah, I actually got paged around 6 PM. And I stayed in the office for a while trying to figure out what the problem was. But, um, luckily enough, it was 6 PM, so a couple of my teammates was still online. So I brought them on and tried to figure out what was the problem was. It was actually my first time getting paged. And when that thing actually goes off, like your alarm goes off like crazy, bro. So yeah, I got out the office around 7:30 PM to go get some food since I didn't eat all day. I got some Chipotle. Came back home like around 7:40 PM. Had dinner. So I actually work with Java and I try to like do side projects. So that way I don't lose my skills. I'm currently working on a side project and I had a meeting with the guy that I'm working with to touch base on where we're at with the project. And then after that, I just went to the gym.
