Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I was going to launch my app this week, then 300 users destroyed my app in 24 hours. And honestly, best thing that could have happened. I've been testing this app for the last month and everything's been working perfectly on my end. So, I'm thinking, let's just ship it. Get it out there, move fast. But I decided to run a beta test first with about 300 people just to see if they catch anything. Within 24 hours, my notifications exploded. Over 100 people left some sort of feedback or bug report. There were weird issues with people on iOS 18, Tinted mode for widgets wasn't working. And people found bugs on the iPad version. I didn't even know there was an iPad version. To fix some of these things, I had to rewrite very core parts of the app. These are bugs I would have never caught myself. And this would have been pretty bad if people downloaded this version of the app. And look, I get it. You want to ship fast, launch quickly, get your app out there. That's what I wanted to. But trust me, it is so worth it to take the time to at least run one or two beta tests to catch as many bugs as possible before launch. We're launching in two weeks and hopefully it's stable this time. I'm building this app in public, so follow along to see what happens next.
