Supabase
Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
Here's exactly how my app is doing financially. Three months after launch. In the last 30 days, we made about $1,800. And with 145 paying users. That's almost $1,500 in monthly recurring revenue. But what about costs? Because Amy's an AI app, the AI costs are pretty high at $320.55. Last month's AI bill. But I will say that's down 50% from launch. Hosting bill is $20.12 a month with Supabase. I'll explain why I couldn't use their free tier in the caption. And because it's an iOS app, I had to pay 15% of the revenue to Apple, which is $278. It's usually 30%, but if you're a small business that makes under a million, you could apply to get it down to 15%. So the total monthly expenses were $618. Which leaves us with about $1,200 in profit. That's a 67% profit margin. Three months in. I'm bringing transparency to the app building space. So if you want to see more stuff like this, follow along.
