what is drop shipping? Old guys, let's talk about what dropshipping is because a lot of people have questions. Hi, my name is Mariana Gutierrez and I have been dropshipping. And it's been really cool. It's been fun. So let's just get into what dropshipping is, like the definition. So dropshipping is an e-commerce model that you sell products without holding inventory. So it's basically like you're selling this can of pop, but you don't keep the can of pop with you. When they buy it, they sell straight from where the pops are made. So really, what you're doing is you have to find a fulfillment, you have to create a website, you have to do the marketing, that whole thing. So we're going to talk about what I did. I use Shopify. That was my main source of where the money was being handled. That's where the website was created. So through Shopify, I created a whole website and from there I connected Auto DS to that, which is my fulfillment. And from there, I found a product. Now, this was during November, so during that time, what was really picking up was heaters. Now, heaters is a Q4 product, which I talked about that in my other videos. And I created a whole website. I did marketing on, um, Google Ads, which I also did a video about how to run Google Ads. And from there, I just put it out. I spent money. I have to spend money on ads. And I just let everything go. Now, coming on to the holidays, the sales stopped. So I decided to get rid of that. Now I'm going into dropshipping with more of a better understanding of how everything works, like the metrics, what to, you know, like the titles of things, how to create your website, and so I'm going to be using meta ads rather than Google Ads.
