You should be on high alert if you're getting one of these reset password emails from Instagram. It started around 4 to 5 AM Eastern on January 8th. A lot of people have been receiving reset email passwords from Instagram and it's coming from the legitimate source and the legitimate email from Instagram. Now coincidence, Malwarebytes discovered that the hacker stole 17 and a half million Instagram accounts. Now this could or could not be associated with this email. Now some writers said that it looks like it could have been caused by some legacy system. Instagram has not officially put out an announcement yet. But listen up, do not click on this email at all. Just ignore it. What you can do is on your Instagram settings, go to password and security. Go to account settings and click on password and security again. And then you can check your recent emails. Now, the time of recording this, this is not even working for me. So ignore it even more. But please change your password today. Make a 30 character password and turn on two-factor authentication. You should be fine. And don't click on stupid emails. And like this video and comment.
