If you're using Claude Code and you're tired of seeing this, then it's time that you start to use the best plugin for Claude Code in 2026 so far. It's called Get Shit Done. And here's how it works. Context rot is where you basically hit the token limit in any conversation that you're having with AI. And Claude Code has about a 200,000 token limit in your context window before it compacts the conversation. And the more that it compacts the conversation, it's gonna get further and further away from where you're really trying to go with your development. Get Shit Done will ask you what project you want to create, ask you questions about the project so it can create the project markdown file, create a roadmap markdown file and give the project a state markdown file so it understands where the project's currently at in its development. Then create all the phases for you. It will then start each phase one by one with human checkpoints. And in every step of the process, you'll put in a slash clear command to clear the context window. Then it'll give you a separate command, whether it's planning phase or executing a phase, that'll pull context from the state of the project, the roadmap, the milestones, every markdown here so it can gain instant context and alleviate that context rot issue.
