(linux runs locally and offline on the ipad) linux on ipad tutorial: install utm (the full ipa from github not the se variant from the app store) and another app (i won’t say the name). once u have utm with jit working download ur distro’s arm64 iso (i chose the debian cd variant) and create a linux vm with the following config: atleast 3gb of ram (u can also use 2gb but u have to stick with lighter desktop environments), balloon enabled (host os uses the guest os’ unused ram), uefi boot enabled, gpu set to virtio-ramfb-gl with resizing and retina mode and 4 cpu cores. now boot the iso and install ur distro to the guest drive. if the display hasn’t resized yet install the virtio and spice drivers. enjoy ur new linux rig (keywords: ipad, linux, debian, kde, vm, x11, gpu, 120fps, 120hz, ipad pro, virtual machine, iso, distro, qemu, virtio, spice, arm64, apple silicon, m1, m2, m3, m4, m5, ios) #TechTok #fyp #xyzbca #cidstech #linux
