I tried to make money with an AI animal stories channel and failed. The last video I uploaded only got 4.1K views, which would have made me a whopping... 80 cents. BUT... I think I know how to fix it. If we look at the retention graph, we can see two major drop points. Here at the end where I put a subscribe button on screen, so I won't do that anymore. And here at the start, which means the hook sucked. I know I've said it a million times, the hook is the most important part of the video, and I still got it wrong. It was just walking an airport and I tried to hide, but they called the police about halfway through. But after countless hours of research analyzing similar channels, I've come to the conclusion that the hook needs to have something visually wild on screen immediately. So I had to talk with ChatGPT with some fresh ideas and I made absolute monstrosity, which will hopefully be pulling some better views.
