HOOK CONTEXT STORY CONCLUSION Open a curiosity gap Provide context Open new curiosity gap Think of it as constantly re-hooking the viewer for each section, instead of just using a hook at the start of the video. taken from the first video script: Is your red the same as my red? No one actually knows if we all see colours the same way. When you and I look at a strawberry we both *learned* to call it "red." But what if, inside your brain, that "red" look completely different from mine... and we'd never realise it? Believe it or not, colour doesn't actually exist. We hook the viewer at the very beginning, then provide some context to what the hell we're talking about, then immediately re-hook them again. We'll try to follow this exact format for every video that goes up on the channel. And as for the posting schedule... I've heard all sorts of things. Some people say it's essential to post everyday, and others say it doesn't matter so much. So, as I'm just doing this in my free time, and I have other stuff to do, I'll try and post as much as I can, but it probably won't be daily uploads. BUT, speaking of the posting It's time to talk about the SECRET launch strategy that we'll be testing out for this channel. I saw a video talking about this strategy for long-form videos a while back, but I think it could be quite beneficial for short-form channels as well. the answers to your curious questions. And it's basically just as simple as launching the channel with multiple videos instead of just one video. And here's why: This series is a great example. I saw a few different comments on the first episode where people were asking where part 2 is, or saying that they were excited for the next episode... Now, some people, after viewing that first episode, might have been interested, seen that there were no other episodes uploaded yet, and then decided not to follow, because they didn't want to wait for the next episode. NOW imagine if I launched this series by posting the first five videos ALL on the same day. That problem would be erased. Which would probably have meant more followers, MORE FOLLOWERS which would mean more views; MORE VIEWS more videos would have MORE FOLLOWERS meant more views; MORE VIDEOS MORE VIEWS AND the algorithm would have more data MORE FOLLOWERS to understand who my MORE VIDEOS videos are for, MORE DATA which again, MORE VIEWS would mean more views. the answers to your curious questions. So we'll be testing that strategy out by posting the 1st 5 videos on the channel ALL on the same day, to see if it works... Like I said earlier, I'm not a guru and I don't sell courses.
