Today we have ChuklzClips. This channel is in the ranking niche, specifically ranking streamer clips, which is a really solid niche choice because mixing two niches together is always a winner. He says he's not sure why some videos are standing out versus the others, so I had a look at the two most popular videos on the channel. Congrats on the solid views. And it seems pretty clear to me why these videos stood out. These two videos have the most interesting, dramatic and fast paced clip as the first clip in the video. So it's all about not just the selection of clips that you're using, but also more importantly, which clip you're using as the hook. This video for example that didn't perform so well had a pretty slow clip where nothing much was happening on screen and probably need a certain level of context to understand in the first place. So my advice if you want to replicate the success of your most popular videos is to spend as much time as possible finding the best clip you can to use as the hook of the video.
