HOW MUCH BITCOIN HAVE YOU MINED IN YOUR LIFE LIKE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT MINING WITH MINERS OR MINING WITH A BOTNET BECAUSE THERE'S TWO I GUESS TOTAL THAT'S SOMETHING I NEVER GAVE A REAL ANSWER FOR BECAUSE YOU KEPT A LOT OF IT NO I DIDN'T DIDN'T KEEP A LOT OF IT I DON'T I DON'T HAVE A TON FROM ANY OF THE CRIMES OR ANY AT ALL FROM THINGS THAT I DID IN MY PAST BUT UH I DID EXPLAIN ON A PODCAST THAT I HAD A CRYPTO BOTNET AND HOW THAT WORKED WHICH I NEVER REALLY GOT INTO DETAIL ABOUT HOW THAT WORKED BUT I DON'T MIND EXPLAINING UM THERE WAS A VERY POPULAR FORUM BACK THEN CALLED BITCOIN TALK AND ON THAT FORUM WHEN YOU SIGNED UP YOU BECAME A NEWBIE MEMBER AND THERE WERE THESE OTHER USERS THAT WERE SENIOR MEMBERS THAT YOU WERE MORE TRUSTWORTHY SO IF YOU CLICKED ON THEIR PROFILE YOU KNOW UH AND YOU COULD GO THROUGH THE THREADS THAT THEY WERE POSTING YOU COULD TRUST PRETTY MUCH WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY BUT IF YOU'RE A NEWBIE ON THERE POSTING LINKS LIKE A NEWBIE ACCORDING TO THEIR THEIR RANKING SYSTEM NOBODY WAS TRUSTING YOUR LINKS SO I THOUGHT TO MYSELF WELL I HAVE THIS EXPLOIT CALLED A JAVA DRIVE BY AND AT THAT TIME BROWSERS WOULD ALLOW YOU TO RUN THESE JAVA APPLETS WEB APPLETS IN YOUR BROWSER IMAGINE GOING TO A WEBSITE AND IT SAYS ON THE TOP OF THE SCREEN IT'LL SAY RUN ONCE OR RUN ALWAYS UM AND THEN WHEN YOU CLICK THAT BUTTON YOUR COMPUTER GETS INFECTED WITH MALWARE WELL I HAD ONE THAT WAS AN UNDETECTABLE JAVA DRIVE BY THAT AS SOON AS YOU WENT TO THE WEBSITE THERE WAS NO BUTTON PRESSING WHATSOEVER IT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY INFECT YOUR MACHINE SO ON BITCOIN TALK I COULDN'T JUST POST AS A NEWBIE SAYING HEY GO CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE AND ONE OF THE WEBSITES WAS I SAID IT WAS A BROWSER MINER BECAUSE MINING WASN'T SUPER EASY BEFORE IT WAS SOMETHING YOU HAD YOU KNOW YOU EITHER USED THE BITCOIN CLIENT TO DO IT OR YOU UH YOU KNOW YOU HAD TO GO THROUGH A LITTLE BIT OF A TECHNICAL PROCESS TO GET A MINER SET UP

How much Bitcoin have you mined in your life? Like are you talking about mining with miners or mining with a botnet? Because there's two different I guess total. That's something I never gave a real answer for because you kept a lot of it. No, I didn't. Didn't keep a lot of it. I don't I don't have a ton from any of the crimes or or any at all from from things that I did in my past. But I did explain on a podcast that I had a crypto botnet and how that worked, which I never really got into detail about how that worked, but I don't mind explaining. Um, there was a very popular forum back then called Bitcoin Talk. And on that forum, when you signed up, you became a newbie member, and there were these other users that were senior members that you were more trustworthy. So if you clicked on their profile, you know, you and you could go through the threads that they were posting, you could trust pretty much what they had to say. But if you're a newbie on there posting links, like a newbie according to their their ranking system, nobody was trusting your links or clicking your links. So I thought to myself, well, I have this exploit called a Java drive-by, and at that time, browsers would allow you to run these Java applets, web applets in your browser. Imagine going to a website and it says on the top of the screen, it'll say run once or run always. Um, and then when you click that button, your computer gets infected with malware. Well, I had one that was an undetectable Java drive-by that as soon as you went to the website, there was no button pressing whatsoever. It would automatically infect your machine. So on Bitcoin Talk, I couldn't just post as a newbie saying, hey, go check out this website. And one of the websites was I said it was a browser miner, because mining wasn't super easy before. It was something you had, you know, you either used the Bitcoin client to do it, or you, you know, you had to go through a little bit of a technical process to get a miner set up.
