Here is how I create cute characters for all of my apps. Recently, I started creating scroll buddy and I wanted to use my dog as the mask off for scroll buddy. So, I took some pictures of my dog and some mask off that I had. I put them into Gemini with this prompt. After tinkering around for a bit, I got some images that I really liked. Then, to animate these, I use two different tools. The first one being mid journey and the second one being clean 3.0. Mid journey is a lot worse, but a lot cheaper than clean 3.0. So, I only use mid journey when the animation I want is really simple and easy to animate. When the animation is a lot more complex I use clean 3.0 motion control on artless.io. Honestly, this is way more expensive, but it helps you get the level of control that you can't get in mid-journey. Lastly, I take all my final assets, put it in cloud code and give it this prompt in order to extract the asset from the white background. Now my dog is integrated into scroll buddy and I'm ready to keep building. I'm building scroll buddy in public, so follow along if you're interested or if you want more tips.
