i paused the business i built, to create again & here's why 👈 6 years ago, right before the world shut down, I made a giant hair scrunchie from my mom's old shirt. It was a Christmas gift for my cousin. 2019 handmade an XXL scrunchie for my cousin She loved it so much she said, "You should sell these. I will order 30 to sell at my salon!" 2 weeks later launched XXL Scrunchie from my tiny apartment, which later took over my parent's house (they told me to move back home and offered their help) XXL & CO. LTD. That gift turned into a business. Growing faster than I ever imagined. My handmade scrunchies were being shipped all over the world! hi to my brother john!! Suddenly there was a warehouse. Employees. Long days. Big dreams. S' DEN I was invited to speak on stages, featured in the news, pitched my scrunchie business on TV. with no business background, I was learning along the way... From the outside, it looked like everything was going up. But behind the scenes I was working constantly. For years, my personal life barely existed. I told myself, "this is what success looks like." So I kept going. Then life started to shift. I fell in love. Bought a house. We got a puppy! I started building a life with my fiancé. 8 MINI SCRUNCHIES it was almost impossible for me to clock out And suddenly I realized I wanted things I hadn't had time for before. Weekends. Balance. Peace. To start a family of my own (one day). So I made a decision that felt really scary... I paused the scrunchie business. Because sometimes the dream you built isn't the life you want anymore. And that's okay. STUDIOS But I'll never stop creating. Painting murals. Making content. Sharing what I've learned along the way to help others. Welcome to XXL Studios ❤️
