about seven years

about seven years ago we were at my my sister's wedding my dad was efficient at that wedding you know he gave a good little sermon on you know the biblical context of marriage and covenant we make with each other and in front with God and with God just a good sermon this feels like it's building it is oh man cause then two days later it it all came crashing down I'm sitting on the porch with my mom and you know she's crying because she's my dad's affair oh man yeah I'm sorry I'm sorry he blew up your family lied to your those people I'm sorry sorry that he wrapped his jolly Jesus biblical language around his cruelty and his selfishness I'm sorry man I appreciate that I hate that dude Jeez and obviously you know devastating for her she's been you since they were teenagers yeah you know he's done he's done well financially so he's been able to support her so she hasn't worked in she hadn't worked in a decade at that point so she's just panicked how she how she gonna survive what she gonna do right me now did did is he getting remarried or going on well well yeah so um one more little piece to the back story is two days after that conversation with my mom we found her of her bathroom bottles everywhere oh good gosh so you know everything ended up we got the ambulance there to the ER couple days in the hospital but you know that took the emotions of the situation to be a lot worse I went from being able to dad about it to I didn't want to have anything to do with it yeah we we we patch things back up my mom ended up passing from cancer a couple years ago that whole process healed the family pretty well you know we all got together got our our kids around her um just really came together up until the end did they stay or did they separate they they stayed married
