Before. Ball is going too high. After. Ball flies just above the net. Hi guys, I'm with Coach DR and he's going to fix my forehand today. Warm up of course to avoid injuries. I started playing pickleball 3 months ago and had 1 coaching session only. During games, my only goal is to receive and return the ball. But since I'm not doing it properly, the ball always lands outside the court or our opponent always gets the chance to smash the ball. So today we focused on fixing my swing, timing, and control. Honestly, I tried to fix my forehand by watching different tutorials but nothing worked because no one is correcting/guiding me. So its really better to have a reliable coach than DIY. At least for me since I have no experience with racket sports. I looooved this drill but it was too tiring. This improved my footwork. Did the same drill for my backhand naman. Idk why, but backhand is easier for me. I still have a long way to go but I'm happy with my progress for now. Next that I want to improve on is volleying so I can stand confidently at the kitchen na.
