I'm not going to lie bro, that is not okay. Okay, no matter where you live, like UK, US, Canada, Australia, Italy, as a Bengali bro, you should have some basic knowledge. Okay, number one is that you should be able to speak the language fluently. And I don't expect you to speak it like a local, but you know, you should put some effort into it, just so it's listenable, okay? And number two is that there are more cities out there than just Dhaka and Sylhet. Okay, you should know them. There are more divisions, there are more divisions and you should know all of them, okay? And number three is that you should know some artists from Bangladesh, okay? You should listen to some music from Bengali artists and I promise you they're actually good. Okay, number four is having basic political knowledge about Bangladesh. Okay, that's all you got to know bro. That is all and it's not hard. And if your parents didn't teach you, or if your parents didn't talk about it enough, just learn it yourself. Just put the effort in and I promise you you'll actually enjoy it as you explore the culture more.
