AI assisted coding interview (Hold for 2x speed)

I did an AI assisted coding interview and I'm about to tell you about it. So I'm a computer science student going for software engineering roles and unfortunately I had to go through the recruiting cycle. And I had a couple interviews and most of them weren't AI assisted, but this one was specifically interesting. So we get on the call and of course, he says, 'share my screen, we're coding, like, very vague. And basically I have to create like the whole system for it. An hour interview. So I'm genuinely I'm confused how I'm gonna build this all out in an hour, but you know, we ball. So I start reading the requirements, you know, I'm asking questions, you know, clarification, do you do this, you do that. And when I'm about to start, he says, 'before you start, just know you can use any coding assistant as you want. Really, I was honestly like taking. Really? He's like, 'yeah, you can use anything that you wanna resemble, to how it feels to work at the company.' I had to clarify. I said, 'really?' He said, 'crazy. Knew so, asking me, do you really want me to do this?' And he's like, 'yeah, you can. Shot questions.' So, you know, for the case of this interview, I'm gonna code it up and then I'll use AI to kind of, you know, flesh it out. The reason I did this was because I knew I was gonna one shot the prompt. I didn't wanna spend the rest of the interview answering 50,000 technical questions about one JavaScript or Python syntax. Like, game. So at this point, I'm like, you know what? I'm getting some types of errors, I'm gonna just one shot it. Give the prompt. I give what I wrote. I told her what to do. I said, 'folder, every prompt, shot. Interviewer. Cool. He goes into the code. He looks at some of the implementation he was done by starts asking, like, he's asking me like syntactic questions about what code output would it change and what use cases would fail or not be correct. Interesting. Cannot you study. Interview. Either don't. From personal out and building out projects, which is really crazy. Having clawed something subscription is something you don't prepare have. Don't. Pass interview. Passed the interview, man. So, yeah, experience with coding assistant interview.
