For a long time I kept noticing in the music independent artists work extremely hard. Most of the money goes to distributors or labels. Meanwhile artists are getting a fraction of a cent per stream. So I started wondering what would a music platform look like if it was actually built for artists first. And that idea turned into Feelz Machine. And today I'm starting to share the journey publicly. The original idea behind Feelz Machine was actually quite simple. Artists should be able to do three things. Upload their music easily. Sell their music directly and actually connect with their fans. Most platforms focused almost entirely on the listener. But I wanted to build something where artists had control. So that's where the idea started. And from there it grew into an actual platform.
