In the next 60 seconds I'm gonna tell you exactly what you need to do to leave your 9 to 5 absolutely if you hate it. Start your freelance career. It's not as scary as you think. Number five, I want you to write a list of what you're good at work and what you love doing. No prizes for guessing where this is gonna go because this is where we're gonna shape your freelance career in the future. And if you're thinking 'I'm not very good at anything', you absolutely are. Take a cup of tea, sit down with a bit of paper and work out what you're good at. Number four is to really work out what your offer is and for who. It's often the bit that people might get stuck on, but what I want you to do is keep it simple. Really think about what pain point could I fix for someone? Could I save them time? Could I save them money? That is what you want to be thinking, so get it down on paper. Number three, I want you to do a survival budget. How much does it cost you to live just now? Paying rent, bills, food, all these types of things. Find out that number because it's often the number that is scary, but once you know the number, you know exactly how much work you need to get in the door to pay the bills. Fear disappears. Number two, little savings. Pop a little pot in your bank and start saving that for that runway. Two to three months to make sure you can pay the bills while you're growing your business. It's not always necessary if you can jump straight into clients, but that's gonna be number one. The magic that we're gonna come on to in number one. No. Number one and the most important bit of advice anyone gives anyone first before job. Sometimes sneaky, absolutely the way to do it because it validates your business and you have a client when you leave. So super important.
