Andrej Karpathy, the former CTO at OpenAI, revealed exactly how to build this, and I wrote the step-by-step guide that went completely viral on how to do it. Here's exactly how to set it up in three simple steps. Save this. Step one, download Obsidian and create a vault. This is just a folder on your computer where everything will live. Step two, and this is way too easy, open Claude Code in the desktop or the terminal and point it at your vault folder. Then give it this exact prompt. By the way, it's in the guide and comment brain if you want it. And Claude will build the entire system for you. The folder structure, the rules, the templates, everything. You don't have to configure any of this yourself. Step three, start feeding it. Take every article, podcast, transcript, piece of research you've been working on and drop it into your Obsidian vault and then tell Claude to ingest it. But this is the part that most people miss. This isn't just some like basic file system. When you drop it in, Claude doesn't just save the file, it reads it, it breaks it down, it identifies words, all the connective tissue from this and everything else, and it updates all the relevant pages in your wiki automatically.
