I'm not going to lie to you guys, watching The Devil Wears Prada 2 broke my heart. I was damn near in tears. And there's no spoilers in this, by the way. What broke my heart about that movie was it basically cast a billboard spotlight on every single thing I'm dealing with right now in reality in my daily life. Ever since I was little and I fell in love with The Devil Wears Prada, it was my dream to move to New York and be in a magazine and be one of the people calling the shots. And I am right now. Loop. It's a luxury nightlife, hospitality, travel magazine. It's fucking sick. And the reason that The Devil Wears Prada 2 hit home to me, I know Nigel at one point in the movie, he was like, nobody cares about real journalism. Nobody cares about print. They want AI slosh instead. And as someone who literally just finished production on a 284 page, beautiful, it's almost like a coffee table magazine book, it's stunning. And every single word was written by us, no AI. Every photo was taken by us. It is a true work of art. And I'm trying to sell it and get it out there. And hearing everything in the movie just made my heart go. Like, I literally, like my mom came to town and watched it with me and she like put her hand on my leg. She could tell I was about to cry. But it makes me so sad. Like, I'm like, what, bring back real journalism? Bring back print? Bring back feeling, touching, reading? I don't know. Maybe I'm like a relic and I'm a nerd, but anyway, it was sad and I'm I'm processing a lot. It took 14 months to put this together. My team has worked around the clock and hearing that on the big screen that nobody wants print anymore was like, okay, well, shit. Let's prove them wrong, though. Um, if you care about independent media, if you're a journalism fiend like me, if you like going out, bars, nightlife, hospitality, travel, anything in that realm, please click the link in my bio. It would mean the world.
