If I were to start Amazon FBA again in 2026, here's exactly how I would do it. So obviously the first thing I would do is go on sell.amazon.com, make an account, pick the $40 a month option, and then from there, immediately get SellerAmp and immediately get Keepa. Honestly, to start off as a complete beginner, that's basically all you need. Now, SellerAmp has something called a profit calculator, and every time you put your cost of goods and your sale price, it calculates all of the Amazon fees for you that as a beginner you probably have no idea existed. Now, from there, I would completely forget about retail arbitrage because as a beginner you're probably getting it for literally fucking everything and get right to online arbitrage because you have more of a variety of products you can choose from. Now, a big thing people deal with is gating, okay, and here's how I get over that. For those who don't know, once you reach 250 units sold on Amazon, ungating becomes a heck of a lot easier, okay? So until then, you only need to focus on products that you can sell and not the ones you can't sell. Meaning that find two or three products that you're already ungated for, which I promise you can find with enough time, and sell those until you reach 250 units sold. Now, I'm going to give you guys a little bit of a cheat code, grocery and gourmet foods is probably the best option to do that. Now, from there, as a beginner, focus on 10 unit ungates and submit invoices for 10 unit invoices. You can't apply for the 100 ones yet, you can't apply for the 200 ones yet, you can't apply for the 500 ones yet. Has to be 10 unit invoices. Now, you're probably like, how the hell do I find these products? Well, let me go and introduce you to reverse sourcing. What is reverse sourcing? Basically the concept of reverse sourcing is just finding other storefronts on SellerAmp that are brand new as you are, because whatever they can sell, you can probably sell. How you find this based on reviews, you go on SellerAmp, you find other storefronts on a product that maybe have zero to like three reviews, you click on their storefront and you go through their products. Now, this makes life 100 times easier, strictly because of the fact that whatever they can sell as a beginner, you can probably sell as a beginner. Do that enough and you will find two or three products that you can sell until you reach 250 units sold easily. From there, as you reach, get more sales, you build more sales history, which means Amazon trusts you more and ungating becomes a heck of a lot easier. Then from there, you just scale your business like that. It's very simple, how you actually start Amazon and scale. If you have any questions, just DM me. Pretty simple.
