What is your role? I'm an AI engineer For how long? For maybe two and a half years now How did you find the difficulty to find your position? Traditionally, when I was working in my job as a software engineer, I kind of transitioned into an AI engineering role. I work in the higher education industry here in Australia. And I'm based in Brisbane. So it was kind of a natural transition for me when the job opportunity became available within my organization. I was able to step from software engineering into more like AI platform engineering. Do you think junior roles should be replaced by AI? No, absolutely not. I think there's a lot of fear currently in the IT industry and you do see some statistics with the junior job offerings not being as many as previously, but I think they'll start to realize that you need people to be using these tools. And, people that are juniors now that the playing field has been leveled. If you have people that have been working in the industry for 10, 20, 30 years that has a lot of domain and IT business and technical knowledge, knowledge is now free. Software is now free. Code is now free. Just get involved with the tools. You just need to start building and then you know, you'll find the opportunities. Do you have any recommendation for junior developer who want to get hired? Yeah. I mean, obviously, just keep applying for the Do certifications. AWS certifications are good. Azure certifications are good. And just keep using the tools. Stay on top of artificial intelligence. Understand what are the new tools coming out, what are the new models coming out, and what are the more popular things that people are using. Those are great advice. I appreciate your time.
