Called as a prophet IS Vastly Different from being Chosen as a prophet

So you don't go down that road. Some of you are very gifted. Some of you have been called prophetically to function in the body. And a select few, and I say few, rare, will become actually functional in the office of a prophet or prophetess. Rare. Many are called, fewer are actually chosen to function. I you got to hear what I'm saying. You can get a word from the Lord at 15, 25, whatever. You'll be a prophet to the nations. That's a calling, yes. Doesn't mean you've been chosen to function yet. It's just a calling at that point. I know the difference. Many are called, fewer are chosen. This is part of the maturity process. This is Joel chapter 2 if you want to go study it. He talks about young men, old men, or young women, old women. And then he talks about servants. Three different segments of people. Young men, young women see visions. Visions are easier to interpret because they're more literal in nature. You still need to interpret them. Old men shall dream dreams. Okay. Dreams take more interpretation skill sets. More understanding of the word of God, because the Bible interprets the Bible. Okay. Now, he also says he'll in the last days pour out on his servants the prophets. Those are people chosen to function in that office and they're just not plentiful right now even though the TikTok all the titles out there say they are. They may be called, but if you're chosen, your words hold more substance than what I'm hearing from some of them. Their lifestyle behind the scenes is not going to have the benediction of the Holy Spirit if it's not holy. You can tell. Look, you can be anointed. You can just like Saul be anointed. And when you function, the gifts come alive, you do all this stuff. Cool. People will be blessed, absolutely. Absolutely. When you get Jesus giving you the green light from your mentor, your eldership. Oh yeah, that means you have to be submitted to someone to get to those levels. That's true because that's humility. And it's good for us because we're all arrogant people. Our old nature wants to do it by ourselves. We're lone ranger people. I'll do it myself. I don't need a mentor. That's a lie. When we start isolating, when we can't let another congregation maybe say something to us and we're in the same city. Oh, they're so crazy. No, really, come on. Jesus prayed that we'd be one. And that means unity, not one by yourself. There's an eye opening for some of you, I know. When you get set apart that way, you no longer own you. And I mean that so 100%. You don't call the shots anymore. Your life becomes absorbed into something called the will of God. You have a major shift in everything that happens to you because you carry something that belongs to him and his kingdom with a purpose that's attached to you that now that you've been chosen, you must fulfill. And to walk away from it at that point is certain disaster if not death. I don't know who's hearing it. You logically will hear what I'm saying and some of you one day will understand exactly what I said.
