living alone in Toronto gets expensive so here's what I spend in a month I usually buy coffee when I'm in office or I make it at home so I spent $212 this month fair warning I spent a lot in eating out this month I think it's a great way to spend time with friends and family I also covered a Mother's Day dinner so I spent $470 I spent $122 on skincare and toiletries I'm going on a solo trip soon so I got a couple pieces some workwear and a makeup brush for $305 full disclosure I do get free food from work sometimes but a couple grocery runs and factor meal prep cost $202 Factor meal prep cost $202 fun fact a lot of their meals have chicken breasts and I love chicken transportation was $63 subscriptions were $84 and my phone bill was $100 my water bill was so bad this month but collectively utilities wifi and tenant insurance was $315 and even more petrifying was my rent of $2150 for a solo one bedroom in downtown Toronto I made one donation I dry cleaned some winter sweater so I could put it away for the summer I don't know if anyone relates but I feel like I'm constantly running errands and I have a never ending list of things that run out miscellaneous was $212 bringing me to a grand total of $4,365.02 grand total of $4,365
