Every time I think about the concept of the geographical lottery, it truly humbles me. Because I don’t have to look far to know there are a million girls who will never get the chance to live out their dreams. I don’t even have to look across oceans to find that reality—it exists within my own family’s story. And that’s why every day I wake up and get to learn, and grow, and fail, and get back up again and try, feels like a privilege.
