Planning to start a small business, or if you've ever thought about it, let me give you a few resources that will help you along the way. The Kansas Small Business Development Center at WSU is a real thing. They provide advising for creating a business plan, where to get a loan, things you need to get your foot in the door. The city which taught has a program called Propel, which I think applications are on pause right now and I'm not sure the timeline, but it's worth looking into if you are thinking of starting a business. It is a low interest kind of fund for getting your business up and running. Also, the Small Business Administration does have a Wichita, Kansas district office and that is a great resource. They will register your business, they will connect you with lenders and they will give you state specific resources for Kansas. All of this can be found online. The Wichita Chamber of Commerce also has a great online resource hub with like a growth plan, a business plan, the market. Buddy talks about this, but Wichita is a great place to start a business just because of all the support that's already there and the resources. The Wichita community is amazing about supporting small businesses. So I just wanted to put that out there because nobody really talks about it.
