How did I get into marketing at 16 years old? This is the most common question that I've been asked since posting my most recent videos. And so I thought I would just answer that question really quickly and sort of talk about how you guys can get into marketing at a young age too. So I got into marketing through an apprenticeship. During my GCSEs last year, I was researching about different apprenticeships I could go into cause I knew that college wasn't the route for me. There wasn't any subjects in college that I felt I was passionate enough about to go and pursue as a career or go and study it. So that is when I started researching and I came across this thing called digital marketing. And from there I just started researching all about it. I started applying to a bunch of different apprenticeships online, even ones I wasn't qualified for. Um, obviously made my CV, made a LinkedIn profile, started connecting with a bunch of people in the marketing field on LinkedIn is definitely a top tip if you're trying to get in the friendship. Ha yeah, that is me personally how I started getting into marketing through an apprenticeship. Which is honestly I'm so passionate about apprenticeships. I think they are amazing way to get into the working world. Getting hands on experience and watching someone who has already done it. But how can you get into marketing at a Young age. So one thing is obviously in an apprenticeship. The second thing would be teaching it to yourself. We have so many resources nowadays that you could literally learn absolutely anything that you wanted by yourself. If you wanted to learn it by yourself, go find a bunch of free courses on Hubspot, LinkedIn, Google Courses. They're amazing. I can show you guys some free ones if you want, that I've taken that I thought were really good. Um, yeah, go and get certified, and you can obviously go on YouTube, watch a bunch of YouTube videos, and from there we have A. I. A. I. Is very useful. And then the third way would literally just be throwing yourself in the deep end. You can offer free work. So, like, if you go to a local business near you and just ask them, like, oh, do you want some free social media marketing, a free website, something like that, just to get yourself working and, like, building something, and from there, you can develop yourself. So, yeah, guys, if you have any more questions, then please let me know, and I'll be happy to help.
