Welcome to my day in the life as a founder of a toothpaste company. I had a long day ahead, so I started off the morning with my oral care routine, of course. The first thing in your mouth every morning should be your toothbrush. I'm not necessarily an early morning person, but I love my mornings, so I do my red light mask and drink coffee while also doing some work. This morning I was going through content to post as a recap from our Mother's Day event with influencer Kate Turner. It was such a fun event and the content was so cute. Being a founder also means being a professional schlepper, so I headed into the city with my three bags for the day. I stopped by The Elk because I ran into their egg salad sandwiches. I know egg salad could be gross, but I love egg salad. And then me and my vanilla latte headed over to the Javitz Center for a trade show called Luxe Pack New York. It's packaging trade show where you get to see all of these different types of packaging and meet beauty vendors from around the world. It is absolutely massive. I have never seen so much beauty packaging all in one place. I got to see some sample packaging, but also get to meet the vendors and understand what they're capable of creating. I also got to meet my packaging suppliers in person for the first time. I was like a kid in a candy store and I left with so many fun ideas for future packaging. Then I walked up to Midtown to go to Gallery 57 Dental, which is a leading dental practice in New York City to interview for my substack. I met with Dr. Samantha Rowden, who is a leading prosthodontist in New York City to interview her for my substack. And she showed me their in-house dental lab where they make veneers and implants directly on site. It was the most gorgeous state-of-the-art dental practices I've been to. Then I came home and did some computer work, including finishing up a substack. You can follow me, I'm the Tooth Fairy. I spent the rest of the day answering emails, updating our website, going through Klaviyo flows, going through content, all of the above. And that was my day. Bye.
