When this campaign started, I honestly didn't expect the kind of love, generosity and national support that has carried me from KuGompo City all the way to preparing for Hong Kong, China. Because of you, your donations, your shares and your belief, we reached and passed the target that will help me take Spectacles4TheBlind SA to the world stage. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Since my story aired on SABC News on Tuesday, 10 June, the attention has been overwhelming, in a beautiful but very intense way. As someone who's naturally introverted and happiest when I'm buried in coding and fiddling with hardware, the sudden wave of calls, messages and media requests has been a lot to manage.
