Make $100 a week just for walking 10,000 steps today. Is it legit? Hi, my name is Tamara and this is the two-week update of trying five different walking apps to see if you can actually make money while walking or if there are total scam. So, we're going to tackle these from Worst to Best. Also, this was my average steps. I didn't get 10,000 exactly. That's pretty good. So, first one was step boxes. This one never loaded, never tracked my steps anything. And so, we deleted it. The next three, huge disclaimer. I wear an Apple Watch. That's the majority of what's on my wrist. I don't walk around everywhere with my phone. I leave it on a counter, I put it in the stroller. So I get 10,000 steps here, but my phone probably gets three to four. The next couple apps only count the steps where your phone is in your hand. So we've got money walk. I made $2,654 coins, which is the equivalent of $1.70. You can only cash out for $4 or five, so I have to get $6,000 more steps to get my $5 you can only get a max of 100 coins a day for steps and then you can get some small bonuses. But this was the least add heavy lap. The next one was probably the most add heavy. I probably have to watch 30 minutes to an hour worth of ads even when I tried to close the app and like skip through the ads to get just my daily coins from this app. And the majority of them come from a slot game that doesn't even have to do with walking. Um so I got 20,000 coins or 20,000 gems in this app which is $2 crazy ad heavy. I really don't think this one's worth it cuz you spend hours of your time watching ads. The next one is walk task. I made $2,231 coins here which is $3.72. I am waiting for the $3,000 coins so I can cash out for $5. You can cash this one out to PayPal. There are some ads related to this one but they're not very long and it's not very crazy. This one's great because it will reward you all the way up to 18,000 steps. The last one we need about four more days to figure out what the exact cash out is. But I am in a three-week move challenge. I put in $40. There's currently $6,760 in the pot. I only need to get about $7,500 steps a day to pass. There's no ads. you just go in and you click update. Now, it does count my Apple Watch steps, which is perfect. There's no ads. It takes about five minutes to update. And then how it works is at the end, everybody who completed the goal will get their $40 back. and then everyone who didn't, they're get divided up between the people who actually completed the goal. So my hope is between a $4 to $10 payout. So the conclusion, no, you can't earn $100 a week by walking 10,000 steps. which is highly unfortunate, but if it was that easy, everyone would be doing it.
