A Regular Lash Lift is NOT the same as a Korean Lash Lift and a regular lash lift are not the same thing. Most people assume that they are identical, just different names for the same service, or some clients don't even know the difference. But they're actually two completely different things. A traditional lash lift uses TGA based formulas and they work faster, but they work by breaking down the lashes' disulfide bonds, which means you're chemically altering the hair structure. Done wrong or done too often, you can actually feel it. And that's why I love the Korean method, which uses cysteamine based formulas. The lift's the hold, but the lashes isn't being completely stripped in the process. That's why the results look different. More hydrated, more of a natural but shinier finish, and lashes that actually still feel like lashes when they're done.
