SpaceX stock is officially in full momentum mode. 🚀 Shares jumped another 19% Monday, bringing the stock's gain to more than 43% since its IPO debut on Friday. The company also revealed it raised $85.7 billion, topping its already record-breaking IPO after underwriters exercised their option to sell additional shares. The rally is being fueled by a mix of institutional demand, billionaire investors, and retail traders rushing into the stock. According to Vanda Research, retail buying of space stocks just hit its highest level since late 2024, while investors sold semiconductor stocks like Micron and Sandisk to fund purchases. Wedbush analyst Dan Ives called the IPO a "watershed moment" for the AI revolution, arguing SpaceX could open the floodgates for future public offerings from companies like Anthropic and OpenAI. To put the move in perspective: SpaceX is already worth roughly $700 billion more than Tesla and more than twice the size of Berkshire Hathaway.
