So I just tried El Chocherita in Sylmar and wow I can see why people love Peruvian food. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and let me tell you it was so good. The meat was juicy, flavorful and every bite had me wanting more. As someone who's expanding my palate this felt like I was unlocking a whole new food category. Honestly I'm wondering why I even waited so long to try Peruvian food. The service was quick and a special shout out to Louise. He was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell that he cares a lot about his customers and the food that he serves. Huge shout out to Selah and the Valley and Jimmy Bitez. This was our first collab together and it was such a fun experience meeting everyone and trying something new. If you're in the Sylmar area and you're looking to switch up from your usual food spots, definitely give El Chocharita a try.
