And before anybody comes for me, no, they don't pay the best, or they don't require pitching or a polished portfolio, which makes them perfect for beginners who just want to gain experience, confidence, and a few wins under their belt. First, Kale. Most campaigns pay around $20 to $35. So definitely not huge money. But what I love about Kale is that you can actually see examples of other creators' work before you apply. When you're new and you're wondering, wait, what am I even supposed to film? That is incredibly helpful. One tip is only apply to the three Kale challenges because they're the jobs that pay the most. So far, I have landed three campaigns or three challenges and I've made $75. Second, Billo. Billo does require a pitch video, but don't let that scare you. You literally give you instructions and tell you exactly what you need to do to get your pitch video approved. My pitch video was approved on the first try within 12 hours and I actually have that pinned on my TikTok for you to check out. Seriously, copy, paste, do whatever you need to do to get your pitch video approved. I've booked two campaigns, $105 on top of receiving free product. Third, Insense. No pitching required, although you do need to upload four videos that act as your portfolio. I used four mock UGC videos that I had created during my first week of doing UGC, then brands review those videos when deciding who to hire. I've already landed one campaign through Insense and paid $150 on top of receiving free product. And that application process is super beginner-friendly. You just answer a question about why you're a good fit for the campaign, and then you can apply. If you are just getting started with UGC, these three apps are honestly a great way to build your confidence and to start getting paid while you learn.
