How did something like this even happen? Steam users have now been warned that Wallpaper Engine is now installing malware on certain wallpapers. Now they've only had reports of this happening to people in Russia and China and Vietnam, but it's still strange. And if you are worried, this is what you need to do. As you can see, I got Wallpaper Engine installed. What you need to do is uncheck web and application. I would not download any wallpapers with these two checked. Everything else you're good. But anybody out there that likes downloading a lot of wallpapers off Wallpaper Engine, be careful out here, alright? They might be cooking your shit as we speak.
