#1 way to go broke

Hands down one of the easiest ways to go broke in your 20s and speed run generational debt is misusing a credit card. And if you're somebody that's really responsible with credit cards, you think that it'd be common sense, but no. A lot of people just straight up don't even understand how credit cards work, but somehow they get their hands on one and they start spending a bunch of money and then making the minimum payment and in a few years, they're still paying for stuff that they bought years back and paying like 30, 40% interest every year. It is absolutely insane. That if I give my money to a bank and put it in a savings account, they're gonna give me 0.03% interest every year. Then they're gonna turn around and take my money and lend it out to other bank customers via credit card and charge them 30% interest. If you have a credit card, always pay your balance off completely in full every single month. Never just make the minimum payment. You will get fucked.
