Credit cards... It is genuinely concerning to me how many of y'all do not understand how a credit card works. I made a video a couple months ago telling people how to properly use credit cards and you would not believe the amount of comments that were under that video saying that I was spewing capitalist propaganda. Literally telling people that if they are in their 20s, they should be using credit cards so they can start building up their credit. And the people in the comment section were like, oh, this dude is promoting or advocating for helping these big corporations steal more money from people. If you are using your credit card correctly, you're not paying these corporations anything. The issue is that most people see they have a limit of 5,000, 10,000 dollars and they're like, oh, I'm just going to max it out. I'm going to spend all of it. And then once they do that, they realize, you know, they get to the end of the month, they can't pay it off. And once that happens, that's when you start accruing interest. That's when you start paying these big corporations all this money. But that's not because they told you to, that's just because you were financially irresponsible. Credit cards are a great investment. You just need to know how to use them.
