upgrading the VIRAL iPod mirror

I bought this giant iPod mirror and it went absolutely viral. But so many of you were commenting saying that you wish it had lights and played music. So today we are tackling exactly that. So starting with the lights, I picked up some Govee light strips to go around the back of the mirror. This was probably the most requested upgrade and I'm so glad you guys told me to do it because it made the whole thing look so much cooler. And I managed to make the color of the lights match the mirror perfectly using the app. I do also feel like this space needs a little bit more coziness, so I added a white fluffy rug and I'm also adding a side table because I have some really cool pieces that are going to go on here. First up, I found the ultimate tech girly coffee table book. It's basically a book all about Apple's history, so it just felt very fitting for this corner. Now I have a really serious question, which is, why does nobody own lava lamps anymore? Because I just think they look so good. Now a lot of you were upset that the iPod mirror doesn't actually play music and whilst I cannot fix that, I did find these AirPods speakers which felt like the next best thing. I am not going to lie to you, the sound quality is absolutely terrible though. But hey, they look cute. I then swapped out the print for my vision board and I spent like 10 minutes trying to work out whether it was straight or not. Now to finish it all off, I'm adding a retro tech display above the mirror. I kept playing around with what I was going to put on here, but I do love my pink Game Boy Advance and my old iPod Shuffle. Then I gave it a quick hoover and then this is the final result. Tysm to everyone who left comments on the last video because a lot of them definitely inspired this setup.
