First thing I always do is customize my lock screen and my app tint because I refuse to leave my phone looking boring. So I always turn on grid, level and mirror front camera and then I also increase the video quality because the default settings aren't the best. Then you want to change your battery settings immediately because this can protect your battery health long term. So I always turn on optimized battery charging and then I set a charging limit of 80% because that is better for your battery in the long run. And finally, make sure stolen device protection is turned on and then I also always add require face ID to certain apps which means they can only be opened with face ID. So if anyone ever gets hold of my phone they still can't get into certain apps and honestly, I think more people should know about that feature.
