Four years ago, we turned our dining room into the dog's room. We had a few rugs that covered this area that's completely destroyed. And realistically, it's been months since I've mopped or swept underneath these rugs. Yesterday I swept it, so today we're mopping. Prepare them, my balls. And realistically cleaning, and we also have four large breed dogs. So if either of those sound like your cup of tea, then stay a while. And I don't know if you've noticed yet, but our house is built around the dogs. They can have the dining room and we can eat it at the table. The funny thing is this room has probably been mopped more times than any other room in this house. Now we do have three Great Danes and a rescue. Debon sleeps on the couch. I think Nance sleeps on the couch. And Kai sleeps upstairs. This is what the mop head looked like. I had to wipe her bangs out of the way. So instead of shampooing the carpets that were already here, I can just throw the new rugs that I put down in the washing machine. I did like the way the black rugs looked. This is just a whole lot more convenient. And I don't know why I didn't think of it beforehand. What are some ways I can put the old rug to use? I did catch Athena doing a sploot. Ben, what you doing? Shoo. We, honey, look at that water. Then I went in with a round of K.O.E. And that is the water dumped from that. Now that the floors are looking good and smelling good, I can put these rugs down. We got the kitchen done while I was at it. And I think I like this. Hopefully me being able to see that down there doesn't give me problems. But, um, I think I like this. It opened up the area visually. And I like it. It's everything that I've been putting off. So let me know what you want to see next. And of course, have a awesome day.
