✨ My Multi-Purpose Fabric Soak ✨ This is the same soak that brought my tea towels back to life, but this time I used it on sheets! The biggest change? I didn't use boiling water. Instead, I used water at a temperature suitable for the fabric I was soaking. Always check the care label and use the warmest water recommended for that fabric. 🫧 What you'll need: • 2–3 tbsp washing soda • 1 scoop laundry soaker powder (stain remover) • A small squirt of dishwashing liquid • Water at the appropriate temperature for your fabric 🫧 Method: Fill a bucket, laundry tub, or sink with water. Add the washing soda, laundry soaker, and dishwashing liquid. Stir well until dissolved. Add your items and ensure they are fully submerged. Leave to soak for several hours or overnight. Wash as normal, following the care instructions on the label. If suitable, dry in the sun for extra freshness and stain-fighting power. 💡 Tips: • Always check the care label before soaking. • The warmer the water (within the fabric's care instructions), the more effective the soak can be. • Great for sheets, tea towels, towels, pillowcases, cleaning cloths, and other sturdy washable fabrics. • Spot-test first if you're concerned about colourfastness. • Extremely dirty items may benefit from a longer soak. ⚠️ Avoid using this soak on: • Wool • Silk • Delicate fabrics • Dry-clean-only items The water after soaking usually tells the whole story! 😳 This simple combination can help lift built-up dirt, oils, and grime and give tired fabrics a fresh start. #budgetcleaning #cleanwithme #homecleaning #frugal #savingmoney @Sheet Society make fab sheets that have lasted the test of time!
