Keep water The left over water in glasses is used to water plants 3. We keep an eye on energy use We have solar so we try to use appliances while we have sun 4. Turn lights off Simply flicking the switch when we leave a room 5. Cooking simple budget meals We keep simple ingredients to make yummy food 6. Coffee at home Thanks coffee machine! 7. Cleaning products We make some of our cleaning products including a general spray which we use for cleaning 8. We grow our own We grow a few simple items in the garden that means we don't need to buy herbs or flowers 9. No paper towels We use rags, cloths or even knitting our own washing cloths 10.
