Short Hair? No Problem! Braid Lock Extensions on an Undercut & Shaved Sides I want you all to see just how short the front of her hair was. I twisted her natural hair, added a small amount of afro kinky hair, and then interlocked what I could to create a secure foundation. Some areas were simply too short for me to create individual braidlocks. In those sections, I created an anchor braid and attached custom crochet Nina Nocs to add fullness and create a seamless blend with the rest of the installation. This approach allows her to enjoy a full, natural-looking style now while giving her natural hair time to continue growing underneath.
