Teardown reveals Trump T1 phone is just gold painted HTC U24 Pro. I mean really though, what else were we expecting? So as you may have heard, Trump Mobile finally shipped out a small number of T1s and people noticed it looked oddly similar to the HTC U24 Pro. And with a teardown, yeah, it's the same exact phone. The worst part is that phone only retails for $470 and the T1 is $500, meaning they're just reselling the same phone for more money. They're basically just scalpers. This also means that they aren't making much of a profit off of this phone. That's only a $30 margin. They probably get them a little bit cheaper than that, but that's still not very much. You see, the real place they're making money is the $100 down payment that they just pocketed. Also, NBC News got their hands on a T1 coincidentally a week after they reported on Trump Mobile being a scam. And yeah, it's atrocious. First of all, they pre-installed Truth Social, Trump's social media company on every single T1. And the funniest part is the American smartphone screwed up the American flag on the back. It only has 11 stripes, it's supposed to have 13.
