How do you get good at these hack the box, like try hack me boxes, machines, whatever you call them. The FASTEST way to get better at CTFs. This is such a cannon event for people in cybersecurity. But if you're a beginner and once you get good at CTFs fast, I'm gonna show you the literal cheat code. First, of course, find a CTF you want to do. I'm gonna choose this one. Then go to YouTube, type in the name of the CTF that you chose and put walkthrough at the end. Then just follow along and copy exactly what bro is doing in the video. And after doing that a couple of times, you'll realize that pretty much every CTF is solved the same way. For example, they usually start with an Nmap scan to look for open ports and services. Then they'll use something like Gobuster to find hidden directories, etcetera, etcetera. And subconsciously you'll start recognizing the patterns. Then you'll start to realize that it all correlates with the cyber kill chain, the 7 stages of a cyber attack. And eventually you'll find yourself using the walkthroughs less and less. Just keep grinding until it all clicks. Follow for more.
