Day 19 | Five friendship opinions I was never supposed to say out loud. As a single mum of two, rebuilding, growing, and redesigning my life, I’ve realised that friendship changes as you change. Some friendships only survive your struggle, not your success. People do not always miss you. Sometimes they miss the version of you that was easier to access. Boundaries have taught me more about friendship than loyalty ever did. Growing older has shown me that history does not guarantee access, and loyalty without reciprocity eventually becomes self-abandonment. These opinions may annoy some people, but they have become impossible for me to ignore.
