You probably don't have Claude set up properly. We're back with Claude runs my life here to talk about setup. These are the three things you need to do if you're getting started on Claude or you skip these steps. First, you're going to take all the information from ChatGTP or any other AI platform that you were using beforehand. If you go into Claude settings, they actually will provide you a prompt copy paste that prompt into the other AI system and it will deliver you all the information that you need to put it back into Claude. Two, you need to give Claude contacts. So, to do this, you're going to set up a on your desktop and you're going to point Claude's co-work to that folder. Then you're going to ask Claude to interview you and turn that interview into MD files in that folder. What you're doing during this process is you're turning all of your personal details and contacts, your tone of voice into MD files which are basically easy to read files for Claude and then Claude will look back at those files whenever it's doing a task for you and pull it in to have the right context, have the right tone. Honestly, getting organized on the desktop of your computer with Claude, so it's pointed to the right folder with all the right information is the easiest way to get Claude to work for you. Three, you're going to make sure you have the right connectors added. So if you go into customize and connectors, you want to make sure all the tools that you use outside of Claude, so think Gmail, Google calendar are all connected into Claude, so it also has that context. So when you ask it about something, it will be able to look at your calendar, your email, the context on your desktop to give you the best response or take the action on your behalf. Send this to someone who's not using Claude yet.
