Everyone I tell about Claude says the exact same thing. So I started a series called Claude Runs My Life because it literally does. And today we're going to be talking about spreadsheets. And the first thing we need to do is get you set up and it's not very intuitive. So if you're using Microsoft Excel, you're going to go into the actual Microsoft App Store. You're going to find the Claude plugin, you're going to download it, and then you're actually going to see Claude contextually in your spreadsheet. It's going to show up on the right hand side. You're going to see the button in the top corner. Once you have Claude set up within your Excel spreadsheet, that's where the magic happens. Here are three ways to use the Claude plugin in your Excel spreadsheet. First, you're going to use it through inputting information. So in that plugin, you can throw in a screenshot of data, a document of data, you can type some data, you can have it go research data. However you want to get that data into your Excel spreadsheet, you can do it through that Claude plugin. You just tell Claude and then you watch it do its magic on your spreadsheet in real time. The second is creating calculations. So whether this is a budget or a financial model, you can ask Claude to create adjustable inputs. And all that means is you have the ability as someone who's actually playing with the Excel spreadsheet to change the number in a certain box and it will update all the other boxes. The third is just asking Claude to build the model that you want. So whether this is a financial model, whether you run a business and you need to see cash flow, Claude will take care of the nuances of what is in a model, what does it look like, what are the inputs. And that's it. You're off to the races. And this is one of the use cases I'm most excited about.
