I've just been banned from Vinted for the second time this month. He's exactly what I did wrong, so hopefully it doesn't happen to you. But before we get started, my name is Emily, also known as Thrifting with Em, I'm a full-time reseller. Love a car boot or charity shop haul and do loads of Vinted and eBay tips. So if you like that sort of thing, then drop me a follow. So, how did I get myself into this mess? Three weeks ago, I uploaded a load of items. But in particular, I listed 12 items, all of them new with tags. This immediately flagged by Vinted to say that I was commercial selling and almost instantaneously got my account restricted for seven days. The longest seven days of my life. And as you can imagine, even since having my account reinstated, I have been afraid to upload anything. I have been using my partner's Vinted in the meantime so that I'm not stuck without any Vinted income because it is such an integral part of my reselling business. So luckily, I have been able to make money on his Vinted. However, I thought I would start trying to upload more on my main Vinted account. So Friday, I uploaded a load of items that I got from the car boot. And one item that was new with tags. And I thought I put it down as very good condition, not new with tags. However, without even thinking about it, I uploaded it and then instantly got banned again because I accidentally put it down as a new with tags item. Don't be stupid and do what I did. If you do sell any items that are new with tags, just make sure in the pictures, it shows that they are new with tags and you put the condition as very good condition and not new with tags. Vinted doesn't really like you using new with tags, let alone new with tags items. So I'd highly recommend if you do have a lot of new with tags items, you can still sell them, just be really careful with how much you are uploading and what you are listing them as. So I don't want my account to get banned again. So the only other option is to become a Pro member. So I'm putting it out to you guys, what do you think I should do next? Do I stick with listing things on my partner's account? Do I jump ship and do everything on eBay? What would you recommend? What are the pros and cons of going Vinted Pro? I've heard so many horror stories, but I need to hear from you guys. Has Vinted Pro been a good thing? Let me know because I need your advice.
